Our classic roadside inn, nestled in the heart of the Sierra foothills, has been a welcoming home base to travelers for nearly 85 years. Our staff treats all guests like family. We keep guitars, pianos, and ukuleles in our restaurant for our guests to play, and our decks are adorned with a charming array of succulent plants.

Each room, is equipped with standard conveniences such as a private bathroom/shower, Smart TVs, free WIFI, coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, air conditioning, space heater, access to ice, and extra towels. With our tvs, you can enjoy numerous free streaming channels or connect to premium channels using your own accounts (please remember to logout upon departure).

Built in 1939, Gena’s classic roadside motel is a part of American history. The design and layout of our inn reflect the era, offering quaint boutique accommodations designed for budget-minded guests who needed a place to rest before continuing their journey to the National Parks. Central California is the birthplace of the “Motel” and we have preserved this historical legacy in our accommodations.

We provide biodegradable toiletries, towels, washcloths, and linens for your convenience. With an optional upgrade, you can access the communal kitchen/laundry facility that allows for food storage in a residential-sized fridge and freezer, and use of kitchen appliances like an electric stove top, grill, air fryer, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. If you choose to cook your own meals, we have provided indoor and outdoor dining options for your convenience.

Laundry facilities include a washer and dryer, with laundry supplies available for purchase at the front desk for a minimal cost.
